Description UP/TEL London Bureau. "Trying To Prove His Point": Jerusalem: On the morning on July 10th Adolf Eichmann the former nazi who is currently been tried for his part in the extermination of Jews, was unable to attend the court here owing to an indisposition but attended later that day. During his cross-examination yesterday, Eichmann said he was not fighting for his head or his neck, but in order to remove the untruths that had been heaped upon him for fifteen years. Here, Eichmann with the aid of documents attempts to prove a point (left) and goes through the various sheets of paper (right) during the trial. 12th July, 1961. United Press International Photo.
